2)World's Smallest Cat
A two-year-old cat, named Mr Peebles, is the world's fully-grown smallest cat, weighing in at just 3 lbs.
The cat has a genetic defect and is expected to hold his title for some time.
His record has been verified by the Guinness World Records.

3)The World's Longest Cat
The world’s longest cat, named Verismo's Leonetti Reserve Red, measured 121.9 cm (48 in) from nose to tip of tail on the 10th March 2002. (Guinness Book of Records)

4)Oldest Cat Ever
There are two cats that are commonly listed as the longest living:
The first is a tabby called Puss, who lived with Mrs. T. Holway of Devon, England until she was 36 years old! She died on November 29, 1939 just one day after her 36th birthday.

5)Fattest cat
The worlds fattest cat was a neutered male tabby named "Himmey" When Himmey died of respiratory failure he weighed a whopping 46 lbs 15.5 ounces! He had a 15 inch neck, was 38 inches long, and had a 33 inch waist.

6)Most Kittens In A Lifetime
A tabby named "Dusty" gave birth to 420 documented kittens in her lifetime. Let's hope that nobody else attempts this record. Like Bob Barker says, "Have your pet spayed or neutered!"

7)Best Climber
On September 6, 1950, a 4 month-old kitten belonging to Josephine Aufdenblatten of Geneva, Switzerland followed a group of climbers to the top of the 14,691 foot Matterhorn in the Alps.

8)Most Popular House Pets
Cats outnumber dogs by millions as house pets in USA, UK and many countries of Europe. In USA alone, there are about sixty million cats kept as pets. In the USA, thirty seven percent of houses have at least one pet cat. In the UK about twenty five percent of houses have at least one pet cat. In Australia, about twenty six percent of houses have at least one pet cat. There are more than seven million pet cats in the UK. In Canada, there are about five million domestic cats. There are about five hundred million pet cats in the world. Cats are also widely domesticated in other parts of the world such as Russia, Australia, New Zealand, Canada, Brazil, Israel, Japan, South Africa, all European Countries and many other countries of the world. In India also, many people are keeping cats as pets.
